About

The evolution of this blog has been a roller coaster. It started in November 2011 as a way of discussing fan support at games. I'd talk about how many of us showed up, how loud we were, and how we compared to the other team's fans. Just as soon as that started, it ended. All of the sudden, the student section got even stronger. There were more of us than I had ever expected and we started traveling...every where. So that phase of the blog ended rather quickly.

Unfortunately, things got difficult in the world of BU Athletics for a while. Every team was struggling in one way or another. So then my blog posts turned into trying to keep up morale in those rocky times. It wasn't until November 2012 that I finally figured out what this blog was about. I wanted to remind everyone that being a Terrier is better than anything. I wanted to remind everyone that these teams deserve and need our support.

Almost as soon as I decided that, I lost sight of it...again. Rather than keeping up positivity and finding all the good things in our teams, I started knocking down other teams. Granted, BC week is different than anything else, but some of the stuff I had written was not what I wanted this blog to represent.

See, it took someone who's opinion I respected very much to tell me maybe I wasn't representing myself in the best way for me to realize it. At first, I didn't really care. Misrepresenting myself in a semi-anonymous blog wasn't something that really mattered to me. But it got me thinking that perhaps I was misrepresenting not only myself, but my school. And that is something that I could not stand for.

Since then, I've pledged to make every post a positive one. Jokes and sarcasm are still in, but the bottom line is different. I love this school and these teams more than anything. In the end, I just want people to know why. Feel free to read or don't. My hopes are that once in a while, you can find something you connect with. But the goal of this blog isn't and has never been how popular I can make it.

As always - Go BU!

About Me:
I'm a female student starting her junior year at Boston University. I'm in COM studying Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. I'm in the BU Pep Band. I work in the Athletics Department, but on the business end rather than the marketing and communications end. Yet all views expressed in this blog are completely my own. They in no way represent anything that I am a part of.
